AGE: 75 ? Cliffwood Beach
Margaret Ramsey, 75, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ, was called home on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011. She was born on February 6, 1936 to the late John Andrew Johnson and Tennesee Johnson of Matawan, NJ. Margaret was raised and educated in Matawan, NJ and later became a resident of Cliffwood Beach, NJ.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Judith Ramsey; sister, Emma Davis, and nephew, Billy Alexander. Those left behind to cherish her memory include: her husband, Billy Ramsey; her daughter, Sharon Ramsey; grandson, Iunique Ramsey; her great granddaughter, Navaeh Ramsey; her nieces, Jacalyn Gill, Yvonne Alexander; her nephew, Michael (Johnny) Alexander. and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held for Mrs. Ramsey from 11:00 A.M. until noon on Monday at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church, Matawan, NJ. Her funeral service will begin at noon, immediately following the viewing hour. Interment will be held at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet, NJ. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the ramsey family i grew up in mrs ramsey house while here mother watch me as my mother went to work im very heartbroken that ms ramsey gone from this world i remember mrs tennesse when i was kid growing up in matawan

Sincere sympathy to the family of Margaret Ramsey. Growing up in St. James AME Zion Church, Margaret leaves a strong memory of a Sunday School teacher during my youth. She was an excellent teacher and she will always be in my memory as I was Blessed by the example she set.

My deepest condolences goes to my second family the Ramsey's, she was the most beautiful and intelligent woman I have ever met. Stay strong Sharon and my son I Unique I will always love and admire her. Her favorite son, Jonathan (All Wise) Smith
