Marjorie McKibbin Obituary
AGE: 96 • Manchester
Marjorie Adele McKibbin, 96, died on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Manchester Manor Nursing Home, Manchester. Born in Kearny, she lived there and worked at the RCA plant in Harrison before moving to the Jersey Shore in 1963. She resided in Jackson for 35 years, where she participated actively in the Jackson Senior Center. An avid singer, she joined the Sweet Adelines in 1950 and performed with the Teaneck and Jersey Shore Chapters for more than four decades.
Her husband of 47 years, John Earl McKibbin, died in 1984. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Reichmann of Stuart, Fla.; and son, Norman W. McKibbin of Toms River. She was a grandmother of six, a great-grandmother of 11 and a great-great-grandmother of two.
Internment will be at 12 noon on Saturday, June 9, 2012 in the Memorial Garden at Christ Episcopal Church, 415 Washington St., Toms River. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, Toms River.
