Martha B. DiGiorgio

AGE: 85 • Annville, PA

Martha B. DiGiorgio, 85, of Annville, PA, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Born in Perrineville, NJ she was a Clarksburg area resident for many years. Martha worked for Acme Markets, Freehold Hospital and also cared for children in her home. A member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Allentown, she was a former member of the Millstone Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bird watching. Martha loved children and spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late William and Frieda Bahn, she was predeceased by her husband Nathan DiGiorgio, her son Nathan W. DiGiorgio and grandson Peter Pogranicy. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Angelina and Vernon Larry Van Hise of Jonestown, PA, Carmela and Thomas Pogranicy of Port Republic, NJ and Frieda and William Cooney of Frederick, MD; a sister, Dorothy Oswald of Allentown; eight grandchildren, Victoria, Vanessa, Valentina, Aleksondra, Jonathan, Natalie, William and Veronica; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 24th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millstone Township First Aid, P.O. Box 190, Perrineville, N.J. 08535 and/or Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann Court, Annville, PA 17003.
