Martha Ibrahim Obituary
AGE: 63 • Whiting
Martha R. Heeley Ibrahim, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013. She was a 1967 graduate of Toms River High School South. Martha took early retirement from Verizon and was living in Whiting for the past 2 years.
She is survived by her son, Gene P. Sarno & granddaughter, Annabella Sarno of Apex, NC; and her son, Nabil Ibrahim of Bridgeport, CT.
Family & friends may attend a service at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 130 Cable Ave., Beachwood, NJ 08722. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to St. Jude.

TO MY FRIEND, MARTHA..WHENEVER I FELT I COULDN'T DEAL WITH SOMETHING AT WORK,I'D WATCH MARTHA CALMLY HANDLE PROBLEMS AND STRESS WITHOUT FLINCHING..AND NEVER COMPLAINING..EVERY YEAR, SHE INVITED ME TO HER HOME FOR MY BIRTHDAY DINNER AND WOULD MAK THE BEST SPAGHETTI AND MEAT SAUCE (MY FAVORITE) WITH CHOOLATE CAKE..SHE INVITED ME TO THE SHORE WITH HER AND NABIL AND WE SPENT MANY SATURDAYS HAVING FUN WITH THE BABY..SHE WOULD DRIVE ME PLACES AND I WOULD MAKE HER APPOINTMENTS FOR HER..WE'D GO TO THE HAIRDRESSER TOGETHER AND HELP EACH OTHER IN THE OFFICE.THE GREATEST THINK SHE LET ME SHARE WAS BEING HER SON, NABIL'S GODMOTHER..HE HAS TAUGHT ME SO MUCH ABOUT CHILDREN AND ABOUT THE WORLD AND IS THE BEST PERSON IN MYLIFE, EVER.. CAN'T TELL YOU HOW SAD I'VE BEEN SINCE LAST WEEK..BUT AS MY SISTER SAID, SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW AND AT PEACE..I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HER WHEN I CROSS OVER AND WE'LL ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN..JUST PRAY EVERY DAY.
