Mary M Eccleston (Doherty), died peacefully after a long illness on 10/1/12 in her home of 13 years in Manchester, NJ, surrounded by family and love. Mary grew up in Hackensack, NJ, one of seven children of John and Josephine Doherty. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John (Jack) Eccleston. They were residents of Paramus NJ for 49 years before moving to Manchester. Mary is also survived by her five loving children and their spouses; son, Barry R and wife, Suzanne Eccleston; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Susan M & Walter Nadolny; Cynthia & Peter Wicker; Mary Ellen & Richard Putignano; and, Nancy & David Gionfriddo. She was also the grandmother of 10 grandchildren; Elissa and Christopher Eccleston, Jessica (Nadolny)Waldorf and her spouse Jered ; Matthew Nadolny and his spouse Bonnie; Daniel James and Hailey Wicker; John, Kelly, and Laura Gionfriddo and Michael Putignano. She was a great grandmother, as well, to Tanner and Jack Waldorf and Madison Nadolny. Mary is also survived by 2 sisters, Doris Speroni and her husband Joseph and Patricia Drummond and her husband Kent. Mary was a woman of great love and strength and displayed immense courage and dignity in her final days. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who touched many lives and will be missed by those who knew her. The visitation is Wednesday 10/3/12 from 2-4 &7-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2935 Ridgeway Rd. Manchester, NJ 08759. Funeral Liturgy is Thursday 10/4/12 at 10 am at St. John's Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ, with entombment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Ave. Hackensack, NJ 07601.
