Mary D. McDow

AGE: 83 • Toms River

Mary D. McDow, 83, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at her home on May 3, 2015. She was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Toms River in 1985. Mrs. McDow was a homemaker and devoted member of St. Josephs Church serving as Eucharistic Minister and member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a devoted animal lover and had an infectious smile.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred and sister Charlotte. Surviving are her children and spouses, Doreen Kiernan; Sharon & William Boss and Fred & Eileen McDow; her grandchildren, Sean & Emily Kiernan and William & Alec Boss.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Family Owned Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River. Funeral mass will be on Thursday at 11am at St. Josephs RC Church, Toms River. Interment will follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
