Maryann Watson Obituary
AGE: 68 • Barnegat
Maryann Watson, 68, of Barnegat passed at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Born in Rochester, NY she received her Master's Degree from Canisius College, Buffalo, NY. Formerly of Ridgewood, NJ for 30 years, she retired from teaching at the Bergen County Division of Family Guidance, Hackensack and is a past President of the Zonta Club, North Jersey Chapter. Maryann moved to Barnegat 6 years ago and was a volunteer for the Barnegat First Aid Squad Auxiliary.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 44 years, Richard L. Watson; loving son, Jason R. and wife Nicole Watson; loving daughter Heather K. Watson; cherished grandson, Jackson Watson; a brother, Lawrence and wife Betsy Weishaar; a sister, Donna and late husband John Glathar; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass Friday May 13, 2011, 11 AM at St. Mary of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6550 Delilah Rd, Suite 501, Egg Harbor, NJ 08234 or Barnegat First Aid Squad, PO Box 729, Barnegat, NJ 08005 appreciated. Barnegat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
