It is with great sadness that our family announces the tragic passing of Gregory Arnold Brown, Margaret Estel Thomas Brown and Megan Elizabeth Brown on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014.

Megan Elizabeth Brown, 27, a loving mother and daughter, was taken from her family to soon. The youngest of Gregory and Margaret Brown's three children, Megan was beautiful inside and out, with a radiant smile and infectious laugh. She was the testament of her parents love, sharing Gregory's tender heart and Maggie's gregarious personality. Megan was born in Brick, NJ, and then moved with her family to New Tripoli, PA, in 1998. Megan graduated from Northwestern Lehigh High School in 2005, where she ran track and competed in the PA State Finals. She won a silver medal in the Triple Jump at the 2005 PIAA Track and Field Championship during her senior year. She won an athletic scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania, which she attended in 2006. Megan committed all of her efforts to raising her son, Tristen, born in 2009, and will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother. Her memory will be forever preserved by her many friends and large extended family.

Megan is survived by her son, Tristen; her brothers, Gregory Aaron Brown and Michael Monaghan; and grandparents, Patricia Brown, Roger Brown, Emma Thomas, James and Linda Thomas.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 5 pm. Sunday, Sept. 28 at O'Brien Funeral Home in Wall Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Church of the Ascension R.C. Church, Brinley Ave., Bradley Beach. Burial following at St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall Twp.
