I was browsing obituaries to look at my uncle Frank`s page and I saw Michael´s name pop up after a brief Google search. Frank was my uncle and was married to my mother Dana´s sister Sue here in Kansas City. I now take care of my grandmother Bea, Frank´s former mother-in-law. I wanted to take this opportunity to share my condolences, but also in hopes that someone in the Alicino family we´ll see this and know how much Frank not only meant to myself but also my aunt and the rest of our family here in KC. Unfortunately my grandmother has now lost both of her Children and I am her only living grandchild. My mother, Dana Ketterling-formerly Dana Kendrick, was found to have stage four bone liver and cervical cancers in April 2019 and after a five month battle, she passed September 30, 2019, two weeks after her 59th birthday. Primarily being raised as an only child, I can remember many holiday meals being bounced around on my uncle Frank´s knee. He used to talk like Donald Duck when I was a kid, and it used to make me laugh and laugh. I´m almost 40 years old now and I would like to think they´re all up in heaven rejoicing together as we celebrate the holidays watching over us all.

Happy holidays and God bless

I've known Mike from around Cooperstown for ~15 years. Several years ago I saw him at Spurbecks Grocery and he asked me if I was interested in having a cat. Serendipitously I had been looking to adopt a cat. The next day I visited his home and picked up a nice kitten. While there I discovered that Mike had several cats in his house and the surrounding property. They were strays and Mike took them in, had them spayed/neutered, fed and housed them, etc. It was then that I discovered Mike to be a kind, considerate and gentle soul. He will be missed.

Michael was a very special person and i have such beautiful memories of him, at the tender age of 12 we met at Tommy's pond ice skating, i will never forget that day, he will always have a special place in my heart. No words could ever express how i feel. I am so blessed to have known and been a part of Michaels life, he was one of a kind with a beautiful heart. May he rest in peace.

Such sadness. My family had the opportunity to get to know Mike though our business. He always had a smile and a good word. Mike was a great treasure and will be missed. We will miss seeing him in the area and having lively conversation. His smile was contagious. Much love and condolences to his family.
