AGE: 81 POINT PLEASANT
Michael Lemmerman age 81 passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20 at his home. Always cheerful and never complaining, he fought a courageous battle against cancer. Michael was a former executive of Pathmark Stores, Inc. retiring in 1987. He was a long time resident of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and Jensen Beach, Florida. He is predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth, in 1988; his daughter, Gail Noonan and his granddaughter Melanie, in 2001; his brother Isadore in 2003. He is survived by his beloved wife Rita, of 18 years; son Scott and his wife Karen; son-in-law Glen Noonan, stepson David Link and his wife Karla, stepson Mark Link and his wife Jude, stepson Joel Link and nine grandchildren, Melissa, Beth, Doug, Lauren, Kerri, Meredith, Michael, Kelsey, and Benjamin.
Services are 11 AM Monday at Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel in Lakewood. Interment is at 12:45 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Michael's name to Meridian Hospice of NJ or the American Cancer Society.
