AGE: 83 • Toms River
Michael F. Libretto, 83, of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Bey Lea Village in Toms River. Born in Asbury Park, he lived in Neptune for many years before moving to Toms River 23 years ago. He worked for New Jersey Natural Gas as a Service Technician for 40 years, retiring in 1995. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr Church in Toms River and he enjoyed volunteering at the church pantry and teaching CCD. Michael was president of Blue Flame Credit Union of NJ Natural Gas. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Grace in 2015, his sister Rose Sutton and grandson Allen in 1982.
Surviving are his children Michele Deo and her husband Chris of Toms River, Annette Riccio and her husband Ron of Smithville and Ralph Florio and his wife Robin of Toms River; two sisters Theresa Wight and her husband Jim of Brick and Frances Eldridge of Florida; his grandchildren Laura, Michele, Eddie, Ralph, Alyssa, Tiffany, Kyle and Brittany; and 9 adored great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River.
A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Neptune. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.

Mike was a really very nice guy..We went to Asbury Park high school and occasionally would see and talk . I wondered where he was living at,but,as happens in life,people move away and lose touch. Sorry that Mike is gone, but will always remember that he was a real gentleman. God rest his soul
