MINNIE APICELLI
AGE: 82 OCEAN TOWNSHIP
Minnie Apicelli, 82, of Ocean Twp., NJ, died Friday, June 26, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Neptune, lived in Ocean Twp., and was a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore. She worked at Mom's Kitchen restaurant in Neptune, until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Asbury Park.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Apicelli, in 1959. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Slinger and husband Al of Oakhurst; two sisters, Mary Avallone and husband Charles of Ocean Twp., and Stella Siliato and husband John of Neptune; two granddaughters, Vanessa Slinger and Victoria Slinger, both of Ocean Twp.; a sister-in-law, Chiekie Napolitano of Ocean Twp.; her future son-in-law, Scott Haberman of Asbury Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service from the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune.
