Nancy Caramucci Obituary

Nancy Lallo Caramucci

Nancy Lallo Caramucci, was called to the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2020. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and had lived in Virginia since 1994. Nancy was a devout Catholic who was proud of her Italian heritage and New Jersey roots. She was a talented home cook and gifted needle artist, crocheting and knitting hundreds of baby hats, baby blankets, and prayer shawls for hospice patients over the years. Above all, her most important roles were wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Salvatore Caramucci; children Thomas (Tricia), Sally (Jason Norado), Louis (Melissa), Anthony (Mary), Nancy (Peter D'Alema); grandchildren Jonathon, Gabriella, Salvatore, Francesca, Alexandria, Nicholas, Natalie, Salvatore, Grazia, Anthony, Mary, Cecilia, Maria, Peter, Henry, Emily, and Simon; and her sister, Mary Ferrante; as well as a host of dedicated nieces, nephews, and friends. Although Nancy faced health challenges over the years, she lived life fully with grit and determination, humor, and abundant love. Inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery in 2021.

Nancy, I will miss your bright smile and your zest for life. I will miss seeing you and Sal at Cracker Barrel. You were always so kind and caring, always concerned for others before yourself. I will miss reminiscing about our New Jersey roots and hearing about your family. You are well loved. Condolences to your whole family..
