Nicholas Sergio Obituary
AGE: 55 • Oceanport
Nicholas "Nick" G. Sergio, 55, of Oceanport passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Eatontown. He was born in Jersey City to his parents Nicholas J. and Caroline Sergio. Nick was employed for several years with Mid State Feed Company in Oceanport. He was a graduate of Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. He also attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Nick was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother Caroline Sergio of Oceanport; three sisters, Antoinette S. Wilczewski and her husband Thomas of Long Branch, Marie Barbera and her husband Philip of Long Branch and Santa DeHaven and her husband Thomas of Midlothia, Virginia and his nieces and nephews, Maryann DeCelle, Kristine Barbera, Peter Barbera, Kate Freund and Jessie DeHaven.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 6 - 8:30pm at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10am at St. Dorothea RC Church, Eatontown. Interment will be private.
Memorial Donations may be made in Nick's memory to Child Fund International, 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.

Uncle Nick will be missed. I have many memories that include him but I believe the one that truely stands ou the ost to me, was teaching him to dance. It was summer time and he asked me to teach him to dance, so I did. For hours we were in Grammy's livingroom dancing over and over again. I thought it was a hopeless cause. But to my surprise, the next time I saw him he was all smiles announcing he won a dance contest, he entered. No matter how old I may get, I will NEVER forget this. I love you Uncle Nick.
