Beloved husband of the late Erin Regina Moriarty and father to Ted,Tyrone wife Michelle Knowles and Christopher wife Karrie Ferrara. Grandfather to 9 wonderful grandchildren Chris, Caitlin, Ryan, Jack Tyler, Brady, Jake, Suzy and Luna.
Born November 11, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to Guido Sergio and Julia Robinson Sergio. Preceded in death by twin brother Fred.
Attended Brooklyn Tech High School and SUNY Maritime Fort Schuyler class of '58.
Attained the rank of Commander United Stated Navy and sailed on the first nuclear powered ship N.S. Savannah
Resident of Staten Island for 50+ years before moving to New Jersey.
Funeral arrangements:
Thursday April 3rd Hanley funeral home Staten Island, NY
Visiting hours 4pm to 8pm
Funeral mass Our Lady Queen of Peace
Friday April 4th 11am burial Resurrection Cemetery

Just heard today of Ted's passing. Please accept our deep condolences on the loss of your lovely dad. We have such fond memories of the time they spent in Ireland with us and of the lovely time we spent in Staten Island with them. Thinking of you all at this time. Tim, Grainne, Aine, Mary, and Caitriona Maunsell, Ballyhoneen, Kerry.
