Olive Cochran Obituary
AGE: 86 • Wall
Olive D. Cochran, 86, of Wall, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at home. She worked at Neptune High School in the cafeteria. She was predeceased by her husband, James Cochran Sr. in 2002; son, James Cochran Jr. in 2013; and son-in-law.,Glen Sumerville. Surviving are her sons, David Cochran and wife Betty, Michael Cochran and wife Kathi, Phillip Cochran and wife Maureen, Steven Cochran and partner Steve, and Paul Cochran and companion Louise; daughters, Janette Elander and husband Robert, Shirley Sumerville, Doris Rogers and husband Glen, Linda Force and husband Charles, and Dawn Caudill and husband Hargis; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, with a 10:30 a.m. service at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. Interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Olive's name to the Monmouth County SPCA.

My grandmother was a wonderful woman who touched many lives. She used to say that if you weren't feeling well to drink a cup of tea. Unfortunately tea will not make me feel better this time. Grandma, I love you and miss you terribly.

Mother you will be missed more than I could ever express. I will always miss your sense of humor (who said the English have a dry sense of humor). You gave so much over the years. No matter the challenge, no matter the obstacles, you always found a way to raise and provide for eleven grateful children. I know that you are in a special place in heaven and are truly a most beautiful and deserving angel. I will see you again. With Love your son David and wife Betty.
