Patricia McGinley Obituary
AGE: 57 • Middletown and Tinton Falls
Patricia Nicholas McGinley, 57, of Middletown and Tinton Falls, New Jersey peacefully passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. A graduate of Mater Dei High School and Caldwell College she served in various executive positions with Rooney Pace Corp and Ralph Lauren Ltd at their respective headquarters in New York City. She moved to the Red Bank/Tinton Falls area in 2000 where she began her more important life's work as a teacher in the Shrewsbury School District for 12 years where she also served as the Treasurer of the local teachers union. A loving Mother of two children and a great friend to all that met her, Patty most enjoyed guiding her students in the classroom of life, being with her friends and family, or just being nice to anyone around her, except for that occasional sunny day down at the beach where she mostly did all those same things as well.
She is predeceased by her father, Michael J. Nicholas. Surviving is her son, James J. McGinley Jr.; her daughter, Megan E. McGinley, both at home; her mother, Veronica M. Nicholas; her brother, Micheal J. Nicholas of Stamford, Ct; her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth LaMura and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury, Anne V. Galbally and her husband William of Blue Bell, Pa; her four nephews, Robert M. LaMura, Matthew N. LaMura, William N. Galbally, and Michael J. Galbally; her two nieces, Veronica E. Allora and her husband Christopher and Allison A. Galbally; her grand niece, Elizabeth A. Allora and her loving dog, Minnie.
A visitation will be held at the John E Day Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19th, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm and later from 7pm to 9pm. A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at St James Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank at 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 132 West 32nd St., NY, New York 10001. Megan, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I just found out today from a client who new her. I just gave her,her pedicure.She was so nice I felt as if I new her for years. I'm thinking of you and your in my prayers. I know how your feeling I lost my mom a year ago.Call if you need anything or want to talk. I gave you my card. My children, Zacharey and Michael, were blessed to have Pat as a teacher. She had a wonderful way about her, always available for extra help for her students or to lend an ear to the frustrated parent. She will be missed by our family. We pray that God gives you the strength and courage in the days to come.

so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, Know that she was so proud of you and was a source of constant support to you. She knew you could accomplish anything you set your mind to. Each time I interacted with her during your last two years at CBA she always sought to find a way to help guide you to a fruitful,successful and happy life. You are extremely lucky to have someone who loved you so much. Know that you and your sister are in my prayers.
