Now that God has made us part
I want to thank you Uncle Pat from the bottom of my heart

For all the times you made my heart smile
There are too many memories to compile
How your daily jokes would make me giggle
Sometimes so hard my tummy would jiggle

When I think back I remember the boardwalk
We used to have our laughs and little talks
Our favorite game was the claw
You always tried to win me a stuffed animal or a ball
By the end of the day your poor pockets were no longer filled
But as long as your little niece’s heart was thrilled

I remember one time at the Racetrack
Daddy, Grandpa, You and Me
I had so much fun with you three
I remember we all sat in a row
And I couldn’t wait for the horses to go
Each one of us with our Monmouth baseball hats
Looking through the handicaps

When I think of Bricktown
Pokeno comes to mind
Aces was your board
It was one game we could all afford
X’s, Four Corners, Center & Diamonds would fill up the pots
But then as we all grew up Atlantic City found us casino slots

Then there was Grandma and Grandpa’s dock
Lucky for us it was right down the block
The families would be Swimming, Fishing or Crabbing,
“DID YOU CATCH A CRAB”
Was one of your favorite sayings

Now that you’re in Heaven
I will never stop saying
“Did I Tell You I Loved You Today”
And always remember I Miss You Already.

Love You Forever Your Niece,
Michele xoxo
