PATRICK CHARLES SAUER
AGE: 66 PHOENIXVILLE, PA
Patrick Charles Sauer, 66, husband of Johanna (Foos) Sauer of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, in his home. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the Son of the late William and Anne (Oats) Sauer. He worked for Sauer Construction in Tinton Falls, NJ for 30 years. Patrick belonged to Alcoholics Anonymous since August 11, 1971. For over 30 years he attended the Matt Talbot retreats in various parts of the country.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Deneen S., wife of Steven M. Falk of Phoenixville, PA;
3 grandchildren, Michael, Donny and Shelby; 2 sisters, Delores Chavan of South Carolina and Joan McCrum of South Carolina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at 1:00 pm with Rev. John J. Newns officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the family, in care of Deneen and Steve Falk, P.O. Box 88, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Condolences may be given at www.devlinrosmoskepp. com.

I first met Pat 34 years ago in the Keyport group when I was new to AA. He was a straight-as-an-arrow AA believer who told you what he thought in no uncertain terms. Just what I liked! He certainly knew how to carry and present the message. What a great guy!

My condolences to the family. I knew Pat from the retreats and he was a very kind and outgoing person. I am glade to have known him and he gave me alot of advice that I still use today. He will be greatly missed

To The Sauer Family, Pat was a great guy, he walked the walk, he shared alot of his sobriety with me. I know his sobriety was his gift of life, but I know his family was eveything to him.I was very fortunate to know him and I will cherrish the friendship we shared. May peace and love continue in your life and God Bless Pat. My condolences to the Sauer Family.
