Dear Loreta and family,
This morning I had a Mass celebrated for the repose of the soul of Peter and for the consolation of the family. In life he was devoted to going to Sunday Mass. Peter is now at peace with God in heaven. May you find comfort in the many happy memories you have of Peter. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was very sorry to read the obituary for Peter. Through the years when I visited Manasquan I would stop by Clark's Gulf and have a laugh with Pete. Remembering that he was my licensed driver when I got my driving permit in 1967. My wife and I will be praying for your family and that he would comfort you in your losss. God Bless You, Dave and Susan Hulse, Woodstock, Ga.

The New Jersey State Police has lost a true friend and great supporter. I have lost the friendship of your brother John and now you! You are both unforgetable to me. How lucky I was to have had you both in my life. Open a Gulf Station in heaven, I'll bring the donuts.

You did well, Peter. And you always had a smile to share. May those thoughts and all the other cherished memories bring peace to your family. John awaits you with his smile--I'll miss you both. My sincerest condolences to your loved ones. I first met Peter in third grade and I last saw him while commiserating over the service station and the NJDEP.

Pete and Mrs. Clarke, deepest sympathy. Your dad was the heart of our cub scout crew and was always an awesome guy to have around. I often reflected that Mr. Clarke would have been a heck of a guy to know as an adult, and I'm happy to think that Pete got to spend some years with him as such. The more I hear about the things we kids didn't see during our times both in the scouts and just as friends, the more I respect the man and the more I laugh at the memories. Best wishes to the entire family.

Love and the deepest of sympathy streams toward New Jersey from your family in Northern Virginia. Scott and I remember our last togetherness in South Hill under those glorious stars. It may have been long ago--and certainly far away--but the picture is sharply focused and radiates with family happiness. Pete was one exceptionally fine man. The world will miss him dearly.
