Pete was one of a kind. A true American Patriot, a veteran of the Korean war, a husband, a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. A wonderful father in law, a mentor, among other notable things. He was a gentle, kindhearted man always ready to lend a hand. Pete is missed, rest peacefully until we see each other again.

Peter Marine was my grandfather the father of my mother. He was nothing short of an amazing man. He was a leader who you could trust to follow. A man who wanted to make our world better indeed. If I could say one thing to you grandpa I'd say I wish I could have made you more proud . I am sorry we moved and got cut short of our time together but we have so many good memory's and so so many times to be thankful for. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss you and wish I could have saw you one last time. You were the best grandfather in the entire world and there is one more thing I would tell you....all of the peanuts comic strips you hand drew and mailed to me were the most absolute light of my childhood I cherish them with all my heart and soul and I just wish you could be with us today. Thank you grandpa for helping take care of me from far away ! I love you so very much and miss you dearly. Rest in Heaven until I see you again..I'll never forget your smell

Pete was a good friend and neighbor for many years. We worked together converting
my garage into a beautiful family room in the mid 1970's.
A great guy and I'll miss seeing and talking to him often while shopping in both Point and Brick over the years.
I always remember him as Mr. Mayor.

Pete was one of my first acquaintances in Ocean County politics and one of my all time favorites. He was so kind to Joanne and me. God Bless Pete. Paul Brush, former Mayor of Toms River
