AGE: 77 • Staten Island, NY
Racheal Manning, age 77, of the Annidale section of Staten Island, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Fountain View Care Center in Lakewood, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to Staten Island in 1973. She also spent her summers in Toms River, NJ. She was an avid reader. Racheal was a member of the Red Hat Club and the Thursday Night Girls Club of Ocean County.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, John F. Manning; 2 children, John F. Manning, Jr., and Cathy Natale and her husband Joe; her brother John Donato and his wife Rosemarie; 3 grandchildren, Vincent Natale, Luke Natale, and Cassidy Manning; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ. 08701. Her funeral mass will be 10:30a.m. Monday in the Holy Family Church, 1139 E. County Line Rd., Lakewood, NJ. 08701. Interment will follow in the Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. For further information or to post a tribute please visit www.deliafuneralhome.com.

dear john i have tried to get in touch with you and i am so sorry for the loss of your mother... i know how much you loved her ?? i just lost my dad in march of this year and the best thing i can say is to treasure all the memories you share and she will be alive in your heart forever..,i hope Cassidy is fine and would love to hear back from you.... maria martini

Dear Cathy and everyone... Laurie H text me about your mother's passing.... I am so very sorry!!!! I can't imagine how you must be feeling, I know you were very close with her. I am currently in Boston. My flight was supposed to leave 8:40 this morning and I planned on coming to the funeral home. Unfortunately, it is now 12:30 and the delay continues as we wait in the airport. I don't think I will be able to make it. I am so sorry. You mother was young. There are no words I know that can be said to comfort. You and your family will be in my prayer's.
