Rebecca Madden Obituary
AGE: 16 • Holmdel
Rebecca "Becca" Madden, 16, of Holmdel, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at her home. Becca was born on August 3, 1998 in Red Bank. She and her family lived in Toms River and Hazlet, before most recently settling in Holmdel in 2010. Becca was currently a Junior year student at Holmdel High School.
She was predeceased by her two grandfathers, Thomas F. Madden and Leighton Dale Manges Sr.. Becca is survived by her beloved parents, Christopher and Denise (Manges) Madden, her loving siblings, Christie Johnson, Leighann Madden, and Christopher Madden Jr., her 2 grandmothers, Josephine Helen Durante Madden and Janice Manges, along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, April 16th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Rt. 35 N., Hazlet. A Prayer Service will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, April 16th at about 3 PM. In respect of the family's wishes, Becca will be privately cremated. You have been a sister to me since second grade, we would stay up all night talking about guys and drama, we would play sims long after the sun rises. It's weird that you're no longer here, I never imagined not having you in my life. We were supposed to grow old and have crazy colorful hair together. When you left you took part of my heart and my sanity with you. I love you becca, have fun dancing with the angels. Rest easy beautiful.

I do not know your family personally, but I am a mother of two teenagers in Holmdel High School. I can only express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your daughter. I will pray for you, for Becca and for our community for we have all lost something precious. To lose a young person is tragic and heartbreaking. Please know you are not alone in your grief.

Becca Boop, I can't help but say what an amazing friend you were. I can not in words express exactly how honored I was to have known you.
