RITA LEEGER DIMM
AGE: 90 TOMS RIVER
Rita Leeger Dimm, 90, of Toms River, died on Sunday, Sept. 28, at Green Acres Manor in Toms River. Mrs. Dimm was born in Jersey City and lived in Lavallette before moving to Toms River many years ago. She was an executive secretary in Toms River for many years also. Mrs. Dimm was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Toms River.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lloyd W. Dimm Sr., in 1993; and her sisters, Charlotte Winkel and Josephine Muller. Surviving is her devoted son, Lloyd W. Dimm Jr. and his wife Doris of Beachwood; her twin sister, Virginia Benson of North Port, Fla.; four grandchildren, Mark W. Dimm and his wife Jean of Lanoka Harbor, Paul B. Dimm and his wife Deborah of Little Egg Harbor, Jennifer Schuman and her husband Dave of Roxbury, N.Y., and Heather Warren and her husband James of North Colonie, N.Y.; 12 great-grandchildren, Deseree, Nevada, Amelia and Sarah Jane Schuman, Jessica, Nicole, Jared and Caraline Warren; Harrison and Alexander Dimm and Ryan Dimm. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 10 a.m. Tuesday until a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Dimm's memory may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753.
