Bobby,

I still smile whenever I think of you. I have the fondest memories of us working together at Tenacre. Everyday was full of laughs, joy, and not to mention getting in trouble for singing out loud. Also, you were always the first one to let me know when the Giants beat the Eagles. I always recall you talking about the love of your mother and kids. You were and still are a VERY special individual. Despite the fact you are no longer on this plane of existence, please know you touched many lives and are still very much with us. Love, Lukas

My Old Friend Bobby

I first met Bobby in junior high school and from the moment we met, it was immediately apparent that we were operating on the same wavelength with our boyish humor and love for making music. Some of that humor resulting in being summonsed to Mr. Zorn's office and after school detentions. I count it all gain for the funny memories I still find myself laughing about some 35 years later and Bobby being the reason I can enjoy it so much. Bobby and I were also musical comrades and spent many a night playing in the Jersey clubs with our band "Pepper". Short lived as it was, we enjoyed a very special time making music and Bobby was a huge part of making that so great for all of us.
A few years back we put together a band reunion and Bobby certainly made that a special event with his wit and humor. He still knew how to make us laugh and there was certainly no love lost after all those years.
I am beginning to realize that this is becoming more than just a short note but I can offer no apologies when sharing about my old friend Bobby.
I will conclude with a story that happened a little over a year ago.
Bobby sent out an email to some of us saying, (paraphrased)
"I just want you all to know how much I love you and care about you". My immediate reaction was one of concern that Bobby might be getting ready to do something drastic. I quickly wrote right back asking if everything was okay. He assured me that everything was good and went on to explain how important it is to tell people that you love them instead of keeping it in. I appreciated that so much and was very relieved to say the least.
Well Bobby, if you can read this little note from Heaven, I just want to say that it really didn’t matter whether you told us that you loved us, we already knew it by so many other ways and in so many wonderful memories we all have of you. Thank you Bobby. I miss you much.

Bob and I became good friends in 9th grade. We spent our time hanging out listening to music and analyzing the lyrics. The composer waiting to break free. It saddens me deeply to hear of his sudden demise. Bobs big smile was the gateway to a tremendous heart and hours of non stop laughter. He will surely be missed but not forgotten.
Peace,Love and Blessings to all who knew this special soul.

I was very saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. I'd known him since kindergarten, but hadn't seen him for a few years. Recently we met at a picnic and it was like nothing had changed. He was the same gentle, funny, witty friend that I remembered. He will be missed.
