Robert Pielka Obituary
Wall Twp. - Robert "Butch" A. Pielka, 71, of Wall Twp., NJ, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018.
Born in North Jersey, he was a longtime resident of Wall Twp.
He was a graduate of the University of Dayton, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Robert owned several businesses on the Jersey Shore, but was most proud of being a former part owner of the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
He was a loving and caring man whose home was open to everyone. He will be missed by all.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Jessica Pielka of Ocean Grove, NJ and a granddaughter Alexis Ackerman.
A memorial gathering will be offered Thursday, June 21, 2018 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made at a future memorial to be announced.

Butch was a very close friend of mine, from Stone Pony days to present. I will never forget, swimming at his pool, going out to restaurants for dinner (one place we used to go to Casey Jones in Long Branch for their all the shrimp you can eat, Butch ate so many, the wouldn't give us anymore!) Butch was great to my wife Joan & I. We would frequent the 'Pony' like it was home away from home. Butch was always friendly and was very generous. Butch, I know the recent years were tough on you both financially and health. We will miss you tremendously! Now you are in a better place, free of pain, our prayers & thoughts are with you, May you rest in peace!
