Robert L. Winter Sr.

AGE: 75 • Keansburg

Robert L. Winter Sr. (Popso), 75, of Keansburg, passed away on Friday September 21st, at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Lancaster Pennsylvania, and lived most of his life in Keansburg. Robert was a crane operator for Goldberg and Son in Perth Amboy. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary Winter in 1994. Surviving are his 3 sons and daughters in-law William and Kelli Winter of North Carolina, Robert and Kathy Winter Jr. of Louisiana and James Winter of North Carolina; 5 daughters and sons in-law, his loving and devoted daughter Lori and Steven Ryan of Keansburg, Martha McGee and her companion Jack McKelvey of Barnegat, Elizabeth and James Merkel of Keansburg; Susan Winter of Middletown; and Margaret Winter of Keansburg; his sister Charlotte Protsman of Middletown; Aunt Ronnie Kane of Port Monmouth who was like a sister to him; Family friend Barbara Cruz of Middletown; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. At Roberts's request, services will be private. Please contact funeral home for information regarding donations to a Scholarship Fund. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
