Ron was my last supervisor in the Air Force before my retirement in 1982. Unless I am experiencing a senior moment I have found this news of his passing back in 2015 such a shock and so surprising. Sincere condolences to Carol and family. Ron was good friend in addition to being my boss.

Carol, just learned of Ron's passing while surfing the web and looking up ole friends from my Air Force days. So sorry! I had not seen Ron since my retirement in 1982 (at Shaw AFB). The "Chief" came on like gangbusters when he arrived in SC from NY but working closely with him as I did for couple years I learned deep down he was an ole "softie" who cared about his troops and their welfare. My condolences to the Cerrachio family and I can say with all sincerity "Thank you for your service Chief !". God Bless!

It didn't matter if you had the best teacher in the world,if you saw Mr.C at your door in the morning, you knew you we going to have a great day.He was an awesome guy,and really cared about the students. He made a boring day exciting, and always had an endless supply of Jolly Ranchers. You will be missed.
