My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. You were a good friend from Wilfred Street to Lourdes to Mountain H.S., I know what a loving father you must have become. Know that your loss has weighed heavily on my mind and that my daily prayers will include you and your family. Nooch, if there is anything I can do...

To the friends and family of Sam I wish to extend my deepest sympathies. I met Sam several years ago as the Director of the LBI Foundation and was thrilled to hire such a beautiful and talented young artist. When a fellow employee told me of Sam's death I was more than stunned and felt an immediate loss. She had a gentle way with people and a grace and unique view that was clear in her artwork. I can only imagine that she must have touched those closest to her in a profound way. I wish I could attend the viewing or funeral to personally give my condolences to her parents. I know they will remain proud to have raised such a beautiful young woman.

I had the pleasure of knowing Sam for the past 5 or 6 years. We met through mutual friends in Salisbury and though I eventually lost touch with most of those people, moved several times and started medical school, Sam and I remained friends. She was thoughtful and funny and so talented. A beautiful person, inside and out. I feel blessed to have known her. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends.

I have lived across from the Fierros for 13 years and have always found then to be the nicest of neighbors. It is beyond comprehension how this could have happened to this family..WE all will be forever changed...My greatest pray is that God will pour out upon the Fierro Family....His healing power....beyond measure...in this the darkest of times and in the forever future ...In Deepest Sympathy........ Dear Jackie, Carmine, Eric, Joanna, Joan and Jody,
There are no words to express my deep sorrow at the loss of Samantha, who was special from the time I met her as a child. Even then, she was very smart, funny, artistic and an animal-lover. She made everyone smile. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
