AGE: 69 • Lanoka Harbor
Sandra Sharkey, 69, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014, in Surprise, AZ. Sandra was predeceased by her husband Richard of 30 years in 2013. She is survived by her sons, David Buckridge of Little Egg Harbor, Mark and Michael Buckridge of FL, Paul Hawk of Browns Mills, Dale Hawk and Sean Sharkey of Lanoka Harbor; sisters, Angel Stogner of Surprise, AZ, and Marge Torrance of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Gabrielle, Victoria, and Mary Buckridge; Ethan, Brandon, and Tyler Hawk, Kyle and Alexis North. Originally from Hackensack, she lived the last 50 years in Ocean County. Sandra worked as a social worker for Providence House Catholic Charities of Ocean County for 21 years. She was always willing to help others when they were in need. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Providence House, 88 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759 or the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 2nd Ave., Forked River, NJ.
