Life is indeed a Journey from Joy to Sorrow. Trooper Scott Graham, I will address him as he proudly earned this title, was one of my five loved grandsons.I loved him dearly and I knew that Scott loved me! His thoughtful, caring way during his many visits was not always the spoken words - "I Love You", but his unspoken words proved this to me by his actions and caring.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bob & Rose (Scott's parent's),Erika (Scott's wife) and Shelby, Ben and Scott (Scott's children), Bryan (Scott's twin brother) and Denise (Bryan's wife) and their children (Aidan and Kayla)as well as Colleen (Scott's sister) and Ed (Colleen's husband) and their children (Gabby and Devyn) and all of Erika's family.
One of Life's greatest Blessings is the Special Love of Family!I am truly blessed at the age of 91 to have this. Scott was a wonderful, caring person to all! May God Rest his Soul! He will be added to my daily Rosary list while I am on earth, until I meet with him again in Heaven. May God Bless You and Your lovely Family - Always!
My Love Always,
Nann (Margaret

I am truly heartbroken for all of you during this terrible time. I remember Scott so fondly & I will never ever forget him. He was a wonderful guy & we are all lucky to have known him.
Scott often patrolled my neighborhood bc we do not have our own dept. He always gave a wave when I knew it was him doing the patrol:) Not that long ago I also saw him in Belmar..we were walking into a bar & there he was in his copcar bustin our chops as we walked in the door. Thats the Scott I remember!
Over the years life changes people but I can honestly say he was the SAME great, amazing, kind & thoughtful guy that I knew in my highschool days. My heart is with all of you. Keep each other safe & strong. God Bless you all. You are not alone. We are all thinking of you & praying for you.

As a former brother LEO I offer my sincere sympathies to Trooper Scott's family, friends and brotherhood. If it's any consolation please know this; I lost my dad when I was 12 and my mom when I was eighteen. I'mm 55 now, and to this day I still have a special relationship with my parents...that love will never cease. Death only ends a life but it never ends the relationship. I pray this knowledge assuages your grief now and in the days to come. Scott is in Saint Mike's hands now, and he's being loved and taken care of. God bless us all

To the entire Graham family my sincere sympathy for your loss. As though I didn't know Scott on a personal level. He was a customer of ours along with the other NJ State Troopers at Keyport IHOP. He was always a gentleman & so polite to the staff. I recall one time when we needed some assistance with some wild kids. Scott was there with a few of the other guys & came to our assistance. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I know it's hard to believe but even though you may not see Scott standing in front of you know he is always with you & watching over you. During his time here on earth he was a protecter & he will continue to protect you & always love you. May the lord hold Scott in his arms & watch over his family until they are all together again. God Bless you all

My deepest sympathies to Erika, children and the rest of the family. I cannot even imagine what everyone is going through.
I like many others were fortunate enough to get to know and work with Scott in New York. Through thick and thin, we all knew that we could count on Scott for anything, anytime.
I also had the pleasure of having a BBQ or two with him along with a few others (Joe, Frankie, Ronnie) and our families. They are fond memories that I will always cherish.
We all remember when Scott moved on to become a NJ State Trooper. We all knew they would be luck to know and work with him, just as much as we were all sad, but proud to see him go. Many of us from the late 90's-early 2000's in Varick have moved on since then, but we all remember.
I and many others were the better for having known him.
May God bring a comfort to the Graham family and all those who miss him.

Rest in Peace Scott. The entire Graham family, you have my deepest sympathies. I understand that no words written can lessen the loss you feel, but I would like to pass along to Erika, the children, and Scott's family a simple entry for this guest book.
I served with Scott in the military, he was in my squad for a number of years. As I think back to those days when we worked side by side, the memories that come to mind are not that of a soldier. They are of a man of character. A man of humor. A man of heart. Thank you for instilling that in him. Personally, I grew as a father, and as a friend for having known him.

Please know that Scotty will forever live in our hearts and minds. He touched our lives in the best and happiest of ways, and was the finest Officer and friend anyone could ever hope for. May he rest in peace and love until we all see him again in Heaven.
