Brick - Sean Arthur Avon, age 26, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 11, 2021. Born in Brick and raised in Toms River, Sean has lived in Brick for the last 5 years.

Sean worked as an auto mechanic for Auto Lenders in Lakewood. It was his dream job and he was so proud of what he did. Sean was always trying to better himself and his end goal was to own his own shop. When he was not working on the clock he was always working on his prized Mustang or Thunderbird or countless other projects. Sean loved to golf and loved the Yankees and any free time he had he wanted to be outdoors. He was extremely crafty and could fix or make anything out of whatever was nearby.

Sean passed away senselessly, but through tragedy was able to give a gift of sight to someone else by being an organ donor. This just shows the kind of person Sean always was and continues to be, exceptional. He was endlessly and unconditionally devoted to the love of his life, Jessica. They had big plans for the future a home, children and to be the best father and husband he could be. Sean was the hardest working, most selfless man on this Earth. He would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. The loss of Sean is unfathomable and he will forever be in alive in our hearts and memories.

Surviving are his wife, Jessica Avon; his parents, Arthur and Janet Avon; his sister, Catherine Bird and her husband, Kyle; his mother-in-law Terri Culver; his grandmother, Ruth Manneback; his grandfather Arthur Avon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who Sean considered family and his cherished dog, Benji.

Sean is predeceased by his father-in-law, William Culver, his paternal grandmother Jean Avon; and his maternal grandfather Charles Manneback.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service being held at 6:30 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, Brick. Cremation is private.
