Shirley Bartner Obituary
AGE: 90 • Toms River
Shirley (Kravitz) Bartner, 90, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Langhorne, Pa. Born in Belmar, she was a lifetime resident of Toms River and was employed by Sica Builders as a realtor for many years before her retirement. Shirley treasured, above everything else, spending time with her cherished family. She was a longtime member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Toms River and enjoyed spending her time reading and knitting.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Bartner; and her son, Paul Bartner. Surviving are beloved daughters, Sheryl Duffy and Carol Shuhler; her daughter-in-law, Alice Bartner; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Patrick, Jonathan and his wife Julie, Katie and her husband Jason; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Jordan and Liliana.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Congregation B'nai Israel Memorial Park Cemetery, 1224 Whitty Road, Toms River. Memorial donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements.
