Shirley Demas Obituary
SHIRLEY M. DEMAS
AGE: 67 CEDAR RUN
Shirley M. Demas, 67, of Cedar Run, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at Cooper Medical Center, Camden. Born in Barnegat, she was a lifetime local resident. She attended St. Francis Church and was active in the senior center. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Demas, in 1993. She is survived by her loving children, Linda Rohrer and husband David, Christopher J. Demas, and Alice Barlotta and husband Anthony; a brother, Wayne; two sisters, Peggy and Louise; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be from 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7 until the service at noon at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton. Please make donations in Shirley's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601-7633.

Dear Alice & family,
There are no words to console you or the pain you're experiencing after losing your mother. You were always there for her, and though she could not express herself, I'm certain she knew it. May God bless you and your family during this painful time. I'm here if you need me for anything.
