Forked River
Silverio"Sal" Avellino, of Forked River, went to be with his Lord and Savior July25,2013.Born in Bronx N.Y. to Salvatore and Teresa Avellino ,raised in Staten Island N.Y. He was an electrical engineer for Bell Labs,Western Union and ATT. Sal was a rock for his family and all those blessed enough to be a part of his life. His love reflected Christ's unconditional and his heart so big he gave all he had until it was time for him to go home. Sal leaves his wife Eunice his seven children Linda Avellino, Susann Meiners, Jeffrey Avellino Laura LoCicero , Deborah Wronko, Glenn Avellino, Keith Avellino and their spouses 25 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren his sister Joanie Sparandera and spouse, niece and nephews Until we meet again. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Layton's Home For Funerals, Forked River,NJ. Relatives and friends may arrive at the funeral home Thursday morning 9 am; for a 10 am funeral service. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor,NJ.

Uncle Sal was a wonderful man and I know he will be missed greatly by his family, myself and friends. Aunt Eunice - know he is with his Maker and happy right now. That will help get you through. It did me.
