AGE: 83 • Toms River
Stella Marie Lavin, 83, passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, peacefully with her sons by her side. Stella graduated from Carteret High School. She worked for the Bell Phone Company in New Jersey and in Phoenix, Arizona for over 25 years. Stella was happily married to Joseph Lavin for 49 years. She had four sons, Joseph, David, Donald, and the late James Lavin. Stella had a wonderful life raising her sons and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Stella leaves behind her sons and their families. Stella will always be within our hearts. The memorial services will be private.

I met Stella when I was 16. I was dating her son Dave. We worked together for awhile. She was always there for me during my life. I truely miss her and always will love her xo

My Dear Stella, I have known you since I was 16 Yrs old. You were my friend, my mother in law and a mom to me. I learned alot from you. How to keep a house clean and shop thrifty . LOL We had a lot of good times and when I needed someone you were always there. You gave me a great father for my daughter who will also miss you.There will never be anyone like my Stella Marie I miss you and love you always.

Dear Joey, David & Donny,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I loved my Aunt Stella and missed her when she left Arizona.
