AGE: 84 • Brick
Theresa M. (Calicchio) Laffman, age 84 of Brick died on Saturday 10/15/2016 at her son's home in Point Pleasant. She was born in Union City, NJ and lived most of her life in West New York, NJ before moving to Brick 37 years ago. Mrs. Laffman was a Homemaker. She attended St. Martha's RC Church in Point Pleasant. She enjoyed cooking, being with her family and her 50 something year tradition of being at the beach with her family and good friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by two sons, John Jr. in 1991 and Robert in 1992. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, John Laffman; her son, Thomas of Point Pleasant; her daughter, Denise Bruno and her husband, Joseph of Brick; a sister, Sue Ann May and her husband, David of Lakewood; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jillian, Nicole and Joseph; four great grandchildren, John, Jack, Nathaniel and Owen. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews. Friends may call on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 4-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home - 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Martha's RC Church, Point Pleasant. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
