Thomas E. Dandy of Brick passed away June 17, 2015 at Memorial Hospital , Pembroke Pines, Fl. Born in Passaic, NJ he lived in Passaic, Lodi, and Wayne before moving to Brick in 1971. Thomas worked for Bendix Foundries Div. of the Bendix Corp. in Teteboro, NJ for 20 years. He was a tool & die engineer and later becoming supervisor of the die cast engineering dept. & die casting production dept. He retired from the Regina Corp. in Rahway, NJ in 1986 as Chief Tooling Engineer. He served 3 1/2 years in the US Army Air Corps, and spent 2 1/2 years in England with the 8th Air Force during WWII. Rank of Sgt.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Frances in 2005 and brothers Edward, John, and Dan. Surviving are his daughter Patricia Ann Watson and her husband Dennis Watson. His granddaughter Debbie Kinney and husband Jack Kinney, his grandson Dennis Watson Jr. and his wife Michelle and his cherished great grandchildren Matthew & Allison Kinney and Cassidy Watson.

In 1967, he served as the Exalted Ruler of the Pompton Lakes NJ Elks Lodge #1895 and in 1969, was Elk of the Year. After moving to Brick in 1971, he transferred to Brick Elks Lodge #2151. He is a "Life Member" of Brick Lodge & a 51-52 year plus member of the Elks. He was also a member of the Brick VFW Post #8867 & the 8th Air Force Historical Society

He was a communicant of The Church of the Visitation in Brick. Visiting will be Monday 10:00am to 11:00am at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park.
