Thomas Dziedzic Obituary
AGE: 71 • Fords
Thomas Dziedzic, 71, of Fords, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Elizabeth, he had resided in Fords for 21 years. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Garden State Tool and Mold in Kenilworth. Thomas was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post #1838 in Manasquan.
He was predeceased by son, Christopher, who died in 2014.
Thomas leaves behind his best friend, Donna Dering; his beloved son, Thomas Dziedzic, Jr. of Iselin; his brothers, Louis of Matawan and Walter of Colorado; and his sister, Cathy, of Seattle, Washington.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016, from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 10:00 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Cremation will follow privately.

Once again, our deepest condolences to the family. Tom was a fine man and a wonderful neighbor, always full of life and knowledge. Every summer we wondered what hobby Tom would immerse himself in next. At first, it was Tom the gardener, then Tom the golfer, then Tom the Harley biker and of course Tom the boat captain. And who could ever forget the hilarious story of the van rolling into the water when he was trying to pull the boat out. Even the cops couldn't keep a straight face when they arrived. But he took every day in stride and enjoyed life to the fullest. God blessed you, Tom. May you rest in peace!
