Violet L. Pritting, 92, of South Amboy, NJ, died on Friday, January 13, 2016 at her home. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main St. in South Amboy, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in South Amboy. Interment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late James and Louise Wood, Mrs. Pritting moved to Sayreville in 1968 where she lived for over 40 years before mving to Saouth Amboy 8 years ago. She worked for 20 years for Sayreville Public Library and she was also a proud homemaker devoted to her family. She was also a longtime devoted parishioner of St. Mary's Parish in South Amboy.

Beloved wife to the late George Pritting. Devoted mother to James Pritting and his wife Grace, Barbara Cybrowski and her husband Ron, Douglas Pritting and his wife Altagracia and also the late Roger and George Pritting. Cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her two sisters Grace and Elizabeth.
