Walter William Isensee, 88, (Born August 27, 1923) of Lakewood passed away peacefully on November 11, 2011. Born and raised in Ventura, California, Walter was a WWII Veteran, served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in the Philippines. He attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and received a MA in Music at Queens College of New York. Walter sang second tenor in the Faith For Today Quartet where he pursued a professional singing career in television and radio. Following his passion for music, Walter entered the field of music education and taught for many years in New York. Walter was an ordained minister for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where he served on the Church Board, was Head Elder and remained actively involved in the leadership of the church. When Walter retired, he continued to provide spiritual counseling to the Lakewood Community.

Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Betty, who passed away in November 2010. He is survived by his two devoted daughters Cindy Isensee Boyle and her husband Bob, and Sally Rosen Frank and her husband Barry. Walter also has two loving granddaughters, Lisa and Jessica Rosen.

Visitation will be held at The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, New Jersey 08759 on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 2:00-2:30 p.m. with a service to follow.
