Warren Fisher Obituary
Ocean Twp. - Warren Emil Fisher, 95, of Ocean Township, NJ, passed away May 30, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center. He was born on January 19, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to Emil Archibald and Florence Annette (Richner) Fisher. He retired to North Carolina for 25 years after a life-long career as a salesman. Later, he moved to Ocean Township for the last 13 years.
An adventurous man, Warren lived all over the country, including Ohio, New Jersey, and Texas. He graduated from Western Hills High School, in Cincinnati, OH in 1941. Prior to WWII, he attended the University of Michigan in Nautical Engineering and Design. He was a proud WWII Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater, in India, after having entered the Army Air Corps in 1943. He reached the rank of Master Sargent.
After the war, he attended The Ohio State University where he met his future bride, Pauline Steen. They were married on December 2, 1950. They were married for 56 years. He loved camping and fishing, cars, flowers, talking business, genealogy, traveling the country from Canada to Florida, and of course the Yankees. He was a parishioner and was baptized at Grace Christian Church, Tinton Falls, NJ.
He was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Pauline Elizabeth Fisher, in 2007. Surviving are his sister, Lois Larson; sons, James and wife Maria of Ocean Twp., Jeffery and wife Emily of Livermore, CA, daughter, Carolyn Davis and husband William of Linwood, NJ; five grandchildren, Jennah, Macie, Jamie, Colin and Kevin; great-grandson Beckham; and numerous nephews, cousins and relatives all over the country and around the world.
Warren will be inurned at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.

Service will be held at Saturday, June 9th 11.00am at Grace Christian Church, 1961 Wayside Rd., Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ, 07724

Hey Pop. I Cant believe its coming up on a year since you left. I miss you just as much today as I did then. You live in my heart always. Your laughter and greetings were so infectious, that I can still hear them loud and very clear!! I will l miss you right up until the day I leave. I hope my kids will always remember you as fondly as I do. I know they miss you too. We speak of you almost daily. And Mom too ! Maybe we can have a game of cribbage when we meet again. I hope so. Warren was my friend. He helped me face life's discouragements and keep trying. His legacy was his persistence to love and support his family. I was lucky to be included. He and Polly raised and supported three wonderful children that I consider my family. Warren has earned his peaceful resting place in heaven. May he live forever in bliss.
