Mrs. Collier and family, I was saddened to hear of your husband's death. I knew him through my sister, Kathy, his neighbor. I always remember him as smiling and laughing. He had a great attitude and always made me feel welcome. He will be very much missed. He also had a very generous nature. People like him are few and far between, and very rare. Dear Collier Family, I remember my dad, Earl Beach, mentioning Jack many times as I grew up. I believe they were very close cousins at one time. My dad passed away in January at the age of 84. Although I do not remember ever meeting Jack, I do recall Aunt Kate and Uncle Bill very fondly. Uncle Bill always gave me a silver dollar when they would visit. I still have them. Just wanted you to know that the news reached the DeLand, FL relatives and we send our condolences. God bless you all.

Mrs. Collier and Family, I have very fond memories of Mr. Collier. As a bennie, when I used to get houses for the summer in Belmar, he was always willing to drive me there when I couldn't find a parking spot. Both you and he always gave me an open and warm invitation to your home if I ever needed a place to stay. I will miss just simply talking to him for he always had great stories to share, a great sense of humor, and a big heart. I read a sympathy card once that read, "Perhaps they are not really stars, but windows to heaven that allow our loved ones to look down and watch over us." May you and your family be blessed with many a starry night.
