William "Kenny" Phythian

AGE: 53 • Oxford

Kenny was a chief lineman for PSE&G in Somerset until his retirement a few years ago. As an avid Giants fan, Kenny converted his home into "Giants Central" especially on game days. He had a lust for life and believed in enjoying himself and his time with his friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife Gloria, and his adored daughter Sydney. Also surviving is his brother Toby and his wife Chantalle of Maryland as well his nephew Danny of Maryland. Kenny is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, as well as by nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved "Puppy".

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, NJ. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28 at 10:00 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Dunellen. Cremation will be private. It is with great sadness that I now learn of Ken's passing. My heartfelt prayers go out to his wife and daughter. Your lives will always be rich with the many memories you created as a family. My memories of Ken are plenty....college, Kiscos, his parents basement bar, his air guitar to Styx and keyboards to YES songs. Through his friendship he taught me to have confidence in myself. Ken, I am truly blessed to have called you a friend. You influenced my life in so many and will always be a part of who I have become. Thank you for being the best "Big Brother". To me you were the brother I never had and I will carry a piece of you in my heart. Your Tau Kappa Epsilon little sis.

Gloria, Sydney & Toby......
Our heartfelt prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow.
Remember that the memory of Kenny will be with us always as he undoubtedly left a powerful impression on everyone he met in his path.
Your husband was one of a kind from that twisted smile, to the twinkle in his eye and the all the craziness that went along with it. I was one of the privileged to have been part of that fun & could never thank him enough for all the wildness we experienced with him at the wheel. So my brother, pour me a double Yukon, rev up that Cadillac and don't change a thing as you start your new journey. You will be loved & missed by all, whose hearts you've touched & adored by the ones you have still yet to meet!
