SICKLES SR.
AGE: 77 OAKHURST
William I. Sickles Sr., 77, of Oakhurst, passed away Friday, July 23 at home. Born in Oakhurst, William was a life long resident of Ocean Township. He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School and a member of the Monmouth Park Racing Pigeon Club. In 1998, William retired from the Ocean Township Sewer Authority. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Carol, in 2007, William is survived by his three sons: John and his wife Lori, Wayside, Harry and his wife, Robin, Toms River and William and his wife, Cathy, Waretown; Six grandchildren: Sean, Aimee, Ryan, Stephanie, Danny and Jillian; one great-grandchild, Nevaeh and two nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 26, 4 - 8 pm at Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Ave., Asbury Park. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.

TO JOHN, HARRY, AND BILLY, your dad was a good man and will be missed , as you know he helped me out over the yrs, and told me some stuff i didnt wanna hear, but had to, and that made me a better man today, he is at peace with carol now, be well and god bless..........eddy

john,harry, and billy, your dad was a good man , he helped me out over the yrs, and some times told me stuff i didnt wanna hear (imange that) but never steared me wrong. iam so happy i got to talk to him last week, i know hes at peace now with carol, god bless you guys, and be well. eddy
