I met Alex in 2022 when he got transferred from Davis Post Office to Roseville Post Office. We became very good friends and coworkers. Alex is very funny, kind, helpful and always have jokes. I will forever miss seeing you at work. You left a hole in all our hearts at the Roseville Post Office.

I first met Alex at the Post Office in Davis, California. At the time, I was the Finance Supervisor, and Alex was a newly hired carrier under my supervision. It didn´t take long to realize that Alex needed very little guidance-he picked up everything quickly and was often sent out to help other new employees.
Once he settled in, Alex´s personality really began to shine. He brought energy and humor into the office, always doing something lighthearted to lift everyone´s spirits and make the day a little better.
After his probation ended, I recommended Alex for a potential supervisor role. He jumped at the chance. I´ll never forget the first day he came in dressed for that position-black slacks, a crisp white shirt, and a tie I still remember clearly because I liked it so much: it had tiny Darth Vader helmets on it.
Ultimately, Alex chose not to continue down the supervisory path, deciding instead that being a letter carrier was where he truly felt fulfilled. Even though I was technically his supervisor, our relationship felt more like a friendship. We had a lot in common-we both served, we sometimes trained at the track with weighted vests, and we always had each other's backs.
Rest easy, Marine. Ooh-Rah!

Alex was my son in law and I´m so sorry for his family and friends. He was too young to lose his life and I regret him not knowing his son Taelor who needed him in his life. Rest in peace and know that Smitty and I always cared about you.

Hey dad, never really knew you but I think you were a good guy. Wish I got more time to know you and wish I had you in my life man. It´s sad your gone from your son who doesn´t have a memory of you, but I know you wanted to get to know me.
