Allen Hastings Obituary
On the morning of December 4, 2015, Allen passed away peacefully at Enloe Hospital in Chico, CA after a five month battle against cancer. Allen was 60 years old.
Allen was born on January 28, 1955 in Livermore, CA. He was the only son born to Robert and Billie Hastings.
Allen served in the United States Army and received honorable discharge at the completion of his term. Allen devoted 15 years of his life to counseling men through the Feather River Men's Center recovery program in Live Oak, CA. Through Allen's years of service in this program, he played a major role in countless men's recoveries from substance abuse, and he fostered men's journeys through spiritual development. His legacy lives on through all of the hearts he touched and lives he impacted over the years.
Allen is survived by his parents, Robert and Billie Hastings of Turlock, CA; sisters, Sandy Gardner of Johnson City, TN and Patty Reimer of Antioch, CA; daughter, Jennifer Hastings and grandson, Markayden Lee Johnson of Vallejo, CA.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at The Father's House Church in Live Oak, CA.
