Andree Favro Obituary

Andree Suzanne Landon Favro, passed away peacefully at her home in Yuba City, California, on February 16, 2024. Andree was born on August 5, 1941, to Jack C. and Julia C. (Burguet) Fitzpatrick in Oakland, California. Andree grew up in Oakland, graduated from Oakland High School in 1959, and attended California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo).

Andree married her husband, David F. Favro, in San Francisco, California, on February 15, 1964. They celebrated their 60th anniversary shortly before Andree's passing. Andree and David have three children: David C. Favro (Kristen), Philip Favro (Mary), and Suzanne McCool (Pete); and 14 grandchildren: Michael Favro, Lauren Favro, Andrew Favro (Eleanor), Tyler McCool, Annalisa Barton (Scout), Noah McCool, Giancarlo Favro, Amelia Favro, Sophia Favro, Jack McCool, Adam Favro, Darren Favro, Lauren Bone, and Dylan Bone.

Andree is survived by her husband, all of her children and grandchildren, and her three siblings: Jack J. Fitzpatrick, Claudette Morrison, and Rosemary Simmons.

Andree dedicated her life to her family. She was a faithful daughter, devoted spouse, loving mother, and happy homemaker. Andree was a wonderful friend and delighted countless people with her gregarious and sunny disposition. She blessed family and friends with her many talents including antiquing, cooking, decorating, interior design, gardening, and travel.

Andree raised her children in both Mountain View, California, and Yuba City. Andree lived with her husband in Yuba City for the past 40 years, enjoying both the physical beauty of the area and the delightful demeanor of so many of its residents.

Andree was a faithful, lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She found great joy and peace in striving to follow the gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for Andree will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, beginning at 10:30 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 520 Clark Avenue, Yuba City, CA 95991. Interment will occur at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Avenue, Sutter, CA 95982.

Deepest condolences to the Favro Family. I, too, am saddened by the passing of Andree. She and I shared the same yearning of our hearts in regards to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will always remember her unique voice and her words of strength and testimony, and friendship.
