Corey Reece Obituary
Corey Alan Reece, 56, of Yuba City, passed away September 26, 2017. Born March 26, 1961 in Oakland, he lived in the bay area until 1976 when his family moved to Yuba City. He graduated from Yuba City High School in 1979.
He started his career in 1986 in retail management with most of his career at KB Toys. Corey's passion building model airplanes started in his early childhood thru his later years. He loved his cats and at any given time he had up to 7. Corey's quirky sense of humor, quick wit and his love for his family is what we will miss the most.
Corey is survived by his beloved father, Ray Reece; his brother Ron Reece, his wife Debbie and their children Ryan and Ally and great nephew Owen; his sister Karen Lizarraga, her husband Ernie and their children Robert, Eric, Amy and great niece Stella.
He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Reece and his grandparents Willie and Muriel Herfindahl.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Sierra View Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst. Corey will be laid to rest with his mother.

Corry was the first assistant manager that I hired for KB Toys all of those years ago. There was this spark inside him that shown very brightly. It seemed that he was born for that position and to work in that environment. To me he was the only choice for the position. I appreciated his frankness and easy going nature. Very sad to hear about his passing. Heartfelt condolences to his family and all those who knew him. An original.

Our condolences to Corey's family. Jennifer and I met Corey when he was 19 in KB Toys and took him home to Thomas. They had many years of airplane modeling together. My 3 daughters always enjoyed his company. Rest in peace Corey.
