Dale Glendal McDowell

Dale returned to his parents and extended family in heaven on June 21, 2024, at age 89. With his wife, of 63 years, Becky, daughter, Dalene and son-in-law, Chris by his side, he passed peacefully.

Dale was born and raised in Doniphan, Missouri. He graduated high school, attended college and enlisted in the Airforce in 1957. After oversees orders, he was transferred to the McClellan Airforce Base in California where he met the love of his life, Becky. They married and made their home in Yuba City, California.

Dale worked in the reserves at the Yuba City Police Department, 7UP bottling company, and owned Ray Distributing Company. He supported his wife with her self-employed business as a hair dresser and retired after his sales position with Capital Coors.

Dale is a quiet, friendly man who always enjoyed lending a helping hand and having coffee at the Blue Pantry with friends. Dale was a hunter and avid sportsman.

He especially enjoyed his family and next to Becky the love of his life, being a Papa to his two granddaughters completed his world.

Dale is proceeded in death by his parents, Ganam and Thelma McDowell.

Dale is survived by his wife, Becky McDowell; daughters, Dalene Howe (Chris husband) Pamela McDowell; granddaughters, Courtney Briggs, Rachel Guccione (Jordan husband).

The family would like to extend an invitation to all friends of the family to come and enjoy a Celebration of Life that will be held July 20, 2024, at 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Butte House Rd in Yuba City, CA.
